Lauren Morris
Practitioner, Cedars Counseling
Lauren Morris, A licensed practitioner with Cedars Counseling, has a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Portland State University, and a BS in both Psychology and Religious Studies from Middle Tennessee State University.
I love working with teens and adults on a wide variety of mental health and relational issues. I often work with clients through depression, anxiety, attachment issues, grief, relational issues, self-esteem, and identity-related issues. I am particularly interested in helping people with religious trauma, body image, women’s issues, and LGBTQ+ issues. I draw from many modalities to best fit my clients’ needs, but I find my core in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness-based practices. I am passionate about providing accepting, affirming, and culturally competent care for all clients.
